Most of the shops and restaurants are open 7 days a week year round. I'm not sure about the welcome center

It has been a while since we have been there so I am not sure. If memory serves me well I think you have to pay to get into certain buildings. Keep in mind that hours for the stores vary and some may not be open. Your best bet would be to call them at 1-800-877-1830. May I suggest you also take the canal boat ride which is about a mile or so from the village. Very educational and relaxing. Sorry I could not help more but do go and have a great time!
