Which time of year is best? summer or christmas? we been to ohio village in columbus for christmas. this looks to be a thousand times better. very detailed answers are welcomed! this would be 2 hrs from us. lodging? if we gonna do thiswe gonna do it 100 percent lol.

The website says open Memorial Day through Labor Day. We had planned to visit the next weekend on Sunday 9-10-17. Will the welcome center and shops be open on that Sunday?

Keep in mind that hours for the stores vary and some may not be open. Your best bet would be to call them at 1-800-877-1830. May I suggest you also take the canal boat ride which is about a mile or so from the village. Very educational and relaxing. Sorry I could not help more but do go and have a great time!
