To make passkeys easier to use, Google is starting to sync them across Android and desktop devices, including Windows PCs. The change is coming to Google Password Manager, which previously could only store the passkeys on Android phones — not share them directly through any PCs you also happen to own.

Google could be working on a feature that syncs notifications between your Android phones and your Android tablets.

A little over a year ago, Google began pushing passkeys on us through Google Password Manager on Android. The big idea around passkeys is that passwords aren’t necessarily safe enough, but a passkey could be and they should be the future of securely logging into devices

Chrome passkeys now sync securely across devices. Previously, users could only save passkeys to the Google Password Manager on Android.
