Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the first entry in the annual blockbuster to be announced and released since Microsoft acquired it along with the rest of Activision Blizzard last October. And, by all accounts,

Black Ops 6's day-one release on Xbox Game Pass proves that it should be the model moving forward to get Game Pass more subscribers.

Microsoft and Activision previously announced that Black Ops 6 had the "biggest" three-day opening weekend in franchise history for total number of players, hours played, and matches. It was also recently confirmed that Activision has now sold more than 500 million Call of Duty games.
