Nov 4 (Reuters) - Ajaz Patel said helping New Zealand wrap up a 3-0 series sweep in India on Sunday was even more special than his spectacular outing at the Wankhede Stadium three years ago when the Mumbai-born spinner picked up 10 wickets in one innings.

New Zealand defeated India 3-0 in a historic Test series on Indian soil. This marks India's first home series loss since 2012.

Even in their wildest imagination, the harshest critics of the Indian team would not have expected them to be whitewashed 3-0 at home. And that too by an out-of-form New Zealand team missing their main batsman and fresh from a 2-0 defeat in Sri Lanka.
