Architectural Scales include scales such as 1:1, 1:2, 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100, 1:200, 1:500 and more rarely 1:25 or 1:250. As an architecture student, you should use the standard scales in the presentation of your work and avoid unusual scales such as 1:75,1:300, or 1:400.

Drawings for architecture are produced at scales that are smaller than the actual size. The typical scale used to make floor plans is 1/50 or 1/100 of the real size. It is common practice to draft site plans at scales of 1/200 or 1/500.
